Building the Future of our football

Our Association established the High-Performance Centre (HPC) in 2019 to identify and develop young football talent across Mauritius. The HPC caters to boys from U13 to U20 and girls from U15 to U20, providing structured training programs to enhance player development and prepare them for both national and international competitions.

In collaboration with S.L. Benfica, we have launched a national coach training program and various youth development initiatives aimed at improving the technical and tactical standards of football in the country.

Each year, the HPC conducts talent identification sessions for all age categories. These sessions are widely promoted and serve as a pathway for young players to join the HPC and progress through the elite player development system.

The HPC U17 Boys compete in the National Division Two, while the U20 Boys play in the National Division One. The U20 Girls team participates in the National Women Super League and won the 2023/2024 season title.

Notable players from the HPC include Aurélien Francois, Abdool Kader Taariq, Darel Arthée, Yanish Reedha, and Eva Pierrot, among others. Several players have been selected to represent Mauritius in the COSAFA Competition.

Training sessions for all HPC categories are held from Monday to Saturday, ensuring consistent development and competitive readiness.
