A good experience

Mauritius participated in the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Beach Soccer in 2022 in South Africa (Durban). Our national team was in Group B, where Egypt, Uganda, and Tanzania were also present.

In their first match against Egypt, Mauritius lost 6-3 at the South Beach Arena. Subsequently, they suffered a heavy defeat with a score of 9-2 against Uganda.  In their last match in this tournament against Tanzania, Mauritius managed to perform better than a defeat, losing 5-2 against Tanzania.

Mauritius, having faced tough matches against Egypt and Uganda, continued to battle valiantly. Despite the loss, their participation in the tournament provided valuable experience against some of Africa’s top beach soccer nations.

While the result was a setback for Mauritius, the team displayed commendable resilience. Their participation in the tournament provided valuable experience against some of Africa’s top beach soccer nations. Players like Nabab and Rajbally contributed significantly to the team’s efforts, earning praise for their performances.
