NSL (Week 4): Pamplemousses SC storms to the top

The club from the North becomes the team to beat as it takes the leadership following the defeat of La Cure Waves against Cercle de Joachim.

Pamplemousses SC has officially turned the Super League on its head. With a dominant 4–1 win over PAS Mates, the northern powerhouse extends its perfect start and grabs the league lead all on its own.

Four games, four victories. No hesitation, no slip-ups. Pamplemousses is playing like a team on a mission — sharp, disciplined, and roaring with confidence. And this weekend, everything fell into place for them.

La Cure Waves, one of their main challengers, crashed hard against Cercle de Joachim, losing 3–1 in a match they never truly controlled. That defeat sends La Cure Waves tumbling to fourth place, while Joachim — the reigning champions — get right back into the title conversation after their shaky opening match.

ASVP keeps up the chase with a 2–1 win over Petite-Rivière-Noire FC, but still has to settle for second place behind the flying leaders. Elsewhere, AS Rivière-du-Rempart pulled off a strong 3–2 victory against Chebel, and ASPL 2000 and USBBRH shared an entertaining 2–2 draw.

After four matchdays, Pamplemousses SC is setting the tone — and it’s a fast one. Their perfect run gives them a clear psychological advantage and forces every rival to push harder just to keep up.

With a tight-knit squad, sharp tactical execution, and a hunger that shows in every match, Pamplemousses SC looks like the team everyone else will have to chase this season. And the next hurdle is a big one: a blockbuster showdown with Cercle de Joachim.
