Coach education is a department guaranteeing that there is a structured process aimed at developing the knowledge, skills, and competencies of football coaches at all levels of the game in Mauritius. It is essential to ensure that coaches can effectively develop players, promote safe and enjoyable participation, and enhance overall performance.

In line with CAF Coaching convention, our Association ensures the continuous education of coaches from grassroots to elite level. Since 2020 to 2024, 10 MFA/CAF D licenses have been conducted in Mauritius, whereas in Rodrigues, one D license was run in September 2020. The course is 60 hours with 20 hours theory and 40 hours practical.

In October 2021, CAF B license refresher was held and it’s a 180 hours courses with three modules. In June 2023 and May 2024, two CAF C licenses seminars were delivered with local educators acting as facilitators during the 60 hours and three modules of courses.
