MFA ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2022: Approval of the financial report 2021/2022.
The Annual General Assembly of the Mauritius Football Association was held on Thursday 1st December at the MFA House, Trianon. The Event started with delegates representing club members of the Mauritius Football Association in the presence of members of MFA managing committee, being greeted by Secretary General Mr Nazeer Bowud.
The Secretary General presented an overview of the activities since the last annual general assembly, highlighting the achievements as well as the challenges heavily marked by Covid-19. Some topics such as national competitions,Beach soccer festival and international competitions matches had a special attention so as the FIFA courses and other projects of the Technical department including Youth development, Women football development. Refereeing and infrastructure were also mentioned in the president report.
Furthermore Mr Nazeer Bowud spoke about FIFA assistance for specific projects and sponsoring and broadcast rights amongst others. In addition the petty amendments brought to the MFA statutes and duly approved were also presented on this occasion. During this annual general assembly the financial report of the previous year has also been approved by all the delegates present. The event was finally closed with a budget forecast for the financial year ending June 30, 2023 .
