Partnership Agreement between LaLiga and the Mauritius Football Association to promote local football.
The Mauritius Football Association (MFA) signed a partnership agreement with LaLiga to help in the development and growth of local football today, Friday 29th October 2021. It is a collaboration which will allow the Mauritian football community to benefit from the expertise and know-how of LaLiga’s professionals.
According to the President of the MFA, Mr. Samir Sobha, this agreement was part of several strategic collaborations with some expert organizations, including LaLiga, which is in line with the MFA’s commitment to strengthen the implementation of its strategic objectives to transform and improve the performances of Mauritian football.
Though this collaboration, the MFA is focusing mainly on the implementation of different empowerment programs such as the education, development and professionalization of the local Elite Football Clubs and other concerned stakeholders in the following domains:
-Commercial & Marketing, Match organization, Security and international strategy
-Communication and digital strategy
The MFA remains committed to improving performances and the popularity of Mauritian football both on the field and off-the-field and at a local, regional, continental and global level which is among the main objectives of the 7-year Strategic Plan of the Mauritian football.
